Following a 6 year hiatus, Nico Vega has returned with a sultry yet frenetic new single, “$5” just released on March 22nd with a new album slated to be called “Make it Out Alive” (produced by drummer Dan Epand) later in the year. This marks the first time in the band’s history that Michael Peña will join the band on his original instrument of bass.

Thematically, the album represents a return to the soulful rawness and contentious battle to reclaim a sense of self-confidence and individuality following such a seismic life shift.
